Cannot believe it, we are one sleep away from the adventure. The bags are packed and we just need to get through the night. Allan Thomson is picking us up @ 8.15 and off we go. It has been a hectic last few days and every now and then there was a bit of a tight moment when the tempers became a bit "under pressure". Nevertheless we seemed to have got through all of that. We went for a last training update with March, the project coordinator, yesterday, so now I can also upload, download, update, back up and use a sat. phone. Never too late to learn new things. Problem is just to remember it all!
Now the housesitter has arrived, the dog has approved of her and the cat did not run away. We are having a glass of wine, going out for supper, as we think that the next 5 weeks are going to be rather wineless and meatless. We are hoping that it will result in weight less, however I think that is wishful thinking.
Thanks to all the good wishes from many friends and family. We will try and keep you updated as much as we can.
